Automatic and suggested "favorites" feature? (1 reply)

Ok, here's a pie in the sky request: Can TimerSync be taught to remember frequently used client/project/task combinations? Here might be one solution:
- Add to and tally within some internal array at the click of every Submit
- show the top three-five unique combos as favorites
- Clicking on a favorite pre-sets the Client/Project/Task dropdowns accordingly, and the clock starts to tick (or doesn't..)

-Bronius

Remember start time through reboot (1 reply)

This is a great and badly needed product for Freshbooks users - thanks for providing it.

At work, I sometimes have to restart my computer - the one running timerSync. Unfortunatly I have to remember to stop it before I log off and start it again when logging in again - and losing the time between.

It would be ideal if timerSync remembered the start time from before when the time has not been submitted, and giving the option to keept that timer running, submitting the unrecorded time, or removing it.

TIA

clients with a single project could default to that project when selected (3 replies)

I think it would be a nice, seamless feature to automatically select the first Project and first Task when a Client is selected. Alternatively, maybe only Clients containing a single Project could do this auto-select business.. I think I would prefer the former: always take the first Project and first Task on a client.

Love the tool. Happy New Year!
-Bronius

more standard keyboard editing/navigation in text area (2 replies)

Ok, I've got a real one this time :)

When editing the "Notes" field, it's irksome that the text area doesn't support the ubiquitous CTRL-BACKSPACE keystroke to delete the previous word. CTRL-LEFT-ARROW followed by DEL or BACKSPACE works ok, but that shouldn't be necessary..

thanks
-Bronius

supported product? (4 replies)

Looks like a great product, but the website's "latest updates" shows 2008?? Also, the screenshots on the website scared me off, but I took it on faith and downloaded a trial anyhow-- significantly different (much improved look and new features!), and I wouldn't have had the same hesitation with updated pics.

Is this still an active product? Any plans to revamp or at least update the website?

thanks! looking forward to using timerSync to fill my needs
-Bronius

Offline timer syncrinization (3 replies)

Hi Goran, just inquiring about the offline sync. I am onsite as well as my techs all day long. I see no use for any of the anytime air cards with a 5G cap, it would be nice to simply start the program on my laptop so the client can see the timer running with (NO INTERNET) then sync when I connect back at the office. Thanks. Matt.

Is there a user manual I can download somewhere?

Thanks for your help.

Feature Requests (16 replies)

First of all, welcome to the forum!

After receiving many emails with different feature requests from different users, I decided it's about time to put up a forum so everyone can jump in and post his/her opinion. Sometimes a single user will come up with a great idea, but without getting approval from the others, I am hesitant to immediately start implementing new ideas. I always wonder, what will others say about this or that, would it affect them and the way they work and so on.

So, if you have some good ideas or need something desperately in a new version of timerSync, don't hesitate, post it here and we'll see what response will it get from the rest.

I hope this will make timerSync much more handy!

Cheers,
Goran Burcevski
